It wasn't just the weight of the cross, he bore. He also carried the weight of all our sins and for that we should be eternally grateful. God Bless.

the cross must be the weight of two persons, because Jesus had struggled in carrying the cross on His shoulders.

The Second Station: Jesus Carries His Cross.
My Son was forced to carry the cross on which he would be nailed, ridiculed and executed. We must pause here to remember what it represents. For this journey, he takes up the weight of all of our crosses, all of our senseless suffering, and the weight of all of the sin in the world – past, present and future. Each step he took cut deeply into his already battered shoulders. I couldn’t believe he could manage even a few steps.
We can look back now and remember that this is all for us. Each of us can say it was “for me.” As we imagine each step he takes, we can pause now to say “thank you,” in our own words, deep in our hearts.

Reading the bible ..I have come to the conclusion that it should have been pretty light (at least for Jesus)...since Jesus manages to bear the weight of the sins of all mankind (he is the redeemer of our sins). and going by the amount of sins one person commits during his life..I wouldnt bother that much about the weight of the cross.... but rather try reducing our burden on him.

I don't think that it is said in the Bible exactly how heavy the cross was. I can imagine it had to be extremely heavy. Especially after being beaten and mamed the way Jesus was.

People have suffered way worse deaths than jesus did. Like the slaves of the new world and the natives suffered along with them. And what happened to those of S Africa. And a lot of them are christians. And genicides that are taking place all over the world. One man is not as important to the rest of mankind.

But we can estimate.
