I can't answer for them but for me it's a choice that you make. Stay in the afterlife or choose to be reborn at a later date.

Re-incarnation theory of hinduism is a truth and it does not depend on acceptance or non-acceptance by a few.
reincarnation is the only logical answer to our sufferings and tells us why there are people rich and poor, healthy and sick, happy and sad without any fault of theirs (in this birth)
