The books, the movies, and now the videogame. How much do you really need to tell the people what is to happen? I don't know everythng about the bible but I do know that it says Thou shalt not kill so what's up with this videogame? You kill the NWO people to please God? That's not how it swings round here.

They have taken a good Christian fiction series and have marketed it to death for profit. Talk about greed!

I have read the books, and saw the first two movies - but have no intention of buying the PC game. Based upon what I have read about it thus far - it contradicts some Christian teachings - like you said.

Christianity is becoming too mainstream. Jesus isn't some hip fad - you keep him in your life unconditionally - not just when it's cool.

I don't really agree with the word Pimp and Christianity put in the same sentence but yeah a video game that advocates killing is not acceptable we are called to be set apart from this world I mean the rest of the world has murderous video games. And Left Behind is Just some good reading.

I think that Lahae and Jenkins wrote the books to be an entertaining informational tool. A lot of people have read the books that perhaps would not have otherwise known about the rapture and tribulation. the movies I think were just a money making scheme. I have not seen the video game, but I am sure that since the books and movies were such a big hit someone is just trying to make more money. God is never pleased when people murder each other.

Never heard anything about the Left Behind series, personnally. Religion is always pimped in some form or another and religion is one of the major causes of violence. Christianity is highlighted by the Crusades, Islam...well I think we know what happens there. I think the only truly peaceful religion is Buddhism...and that's more of a way of life than a religion.

I think the Left Behind series are part of the great delusion!

Mt 7:15 -
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Mt 24:11 -
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

Mr 13:22 -
For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

Thankfully, I've never read, seen or used any of that propaganda.
From what I've read and heard about it, the only thing 'left behind' is the money people give them for churning out this sensationalism.

But then, pimping for money is what religion, esp. Christianity, is all about, isn't it?

I had heard about the video game, the gamers claimed that there would be no gratuitous killing...I guess killing anyone not Christian is not considered gratuitous...

I have read some of the books and I'm surprised that Jesus isn't more of an animal lover=)

I thought it was mostly harmless--just another popular, badly written book my aunts like--until I heard about the video game. It's set in NYC, a place that religious zealots threatened quite recently. You convert or kill. Bodies pile up in the streets.

I have actually cried, because my younger cousins will get this game. I hope they remember their "unsaved" cousin in NYC as they pretend to shoot "unsaved" New Yorkers.

I'm giving them gift cards to GameStop so they get something else for Christmas! :-)

I wasn't aware there is a game. That's disgusting. The Left Behind series is interpretive novels that have no basis in reality. (Maybe a little)

I was sort of thinking something like that too. Did you know that the the "Left Behind" view of end times is rather new? It is only about 100-150 years old....
