First, you're assuming that a e book written approximately one hundred years after the activities and that has been for this reason altered is an precise illustration of historic previous. that is not. that is purely a narrative, the characters do besides the fact that the author needs them to. Judas 'betrays' Jesus via fact some out of context passage interior the OT says he will, and the Christians can upload one greater messianic 'prophecy' that has been fulfilled. For a various tale seem into the Gospel in accordance to Judas. A gnostic gospel that the church declared heresy genuinely via fact they did not like it. It will boost your wonderful element. Jesus would desire to die on the palms of the government so as that his human blood sacrifice can wash away our sins (do not ask why an all-powerful deity can not purely wash them away without human sacrifice.) So Jesus instructions Judas to betray him to the Romans. yet this is purely yet another tale written long after the time that those activities have been meant to take place.

Judas had no choice. It was Gods will that his Son die on the cross for our salvation. Jesus had no will either, but that of the Father. Judas was so remorseful after what he had done that he killed himself. An evil man would have no remorse. I believe that Judas went to heaven because he was one of Christs beloved disciples and did what was prophesied.

I hope you are asking a serious question.

Judas betrayed Jesus for a couple reasons. First of all because prophecy had to be fulfilled.
Matthew 27:9 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value; 10 and gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord appointed me. Zech. 11.12, 13

Secondly, (and this is going to cause controversy I can tell) because Judas Iscariot was not trully saved and had been taken over by Satan.

John 13:26 Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscar'i-ot, the son of Simon. 27 And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.

Judas' body had been taken over by Satan. If you are trully God's child, Satan nor his devils can take your spirit or soul over.

John 10:27-29
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:28 and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

Historical, social context gives this a little perspective. The expectation of this great leader was hailed in so many ways, for such a long time. Many of the militant groups expected a great warrior. Instead Jesus preached love...even of your enemies. Is it any wonder some were disappointed? Expectations can often get in the way of reality.

some say Judas didn't betray JESUS. some believe JESUS chose Judas to do HIS bidding and turn HIM over in order that HIS mission would be fulfilled.
