The best way to begin this is to go to your school and apply for scholarships and tuition discounts. I know my school gives tuition discounts for things like bein over 30 or being married or having children. so you really need to talk to your school and figure out how much you need before considering a loan

well the way i went was I called the college first and inquired about financial aide. Then they helped me every step of the way. I, too am an older lady that returned too school. The financial aide counselor helped me threw all the paper work and even told me after wards how to look it up on the Internet and what to look for. She is still my financial aide counselor as I go to college about every semester or every other semester only taking 1 class per semester. Also, if you are like me and have special needs, you will of course then have to contact the special need coordinator as well
