What really makes men come on so strong after first meeting, and then stop calling a few weeks into hanging out - even if you 2 had the best times hanging out together, and nothing happened? I've never understood this...

the newness wares off, he meets someone else, reconnects w/ an ex, got laid and is no longer interested, didn't get laid and lost interest, men are just freakin weird when it comes to the way they handle the opposite sex...but...in all fairness women have a tendancy to play the same games with just as twisted motives

You had the 2 best times hanging out together. He was just trying to get laid. The only reason a guy takes you out is because he wants to sleep with you. Why else would a perfect stranger want to buy you dinner? If he just wanted company he could hang out with his friends.

You didn't put out so he found someone who would.

He sounds manipulative and he sounds like a user. Just consider it a lesson learned and go on. You will find someone decent. After running into a few of these, I found a good one. It can happen.

He may be trying to see if you like him. By not calling he figures that if you do not call him then you are not interested in him and if you do call that means that there is a good Chance for a great relationship, because the communication is gowning both ways.If you really like him then call or write!

Men are in it for the thrill of the chase. If you want to hold a man's attention, don't show them any attention and let them know you have other male friends.
