Chocolate has a lot of sugar in it which causes weight gain, mainly in the stomach area. I would suggest that you decrease your intake to lose weight and to prevent diabetes. On the other hand, dark chocolate is good for you. It doesn't contain that much sugar, but don't eat too much of it.

Yes, it is just empty calories. If you are seriously trying to lose weight you need to cut down on your sweets, but if you really need chocolate you should eat dark chocolate and it is best on an empty stomach.

Chocolate is empty calories and sugar that turn into fat. I am a chocolate freat as well and limit it as much as I can. There are low fat or fat free puddings that are good or once in a while grab a slim fast snack bar or balance protein bar. Less sugar, better for you and they actually are very good.

You have just set yourself up to fail. If you want to really lose weight and get healthy, then you can't have that attitude. You have to be willing to honestly look at why you are overweight and realize that it is your unwillingness to change.
You have to be willing to do the work.

YA! high calories!! and too much chocolate is not good for your health and your teeth...don't lose bigger thing(your health,coz u got weight problem) because of chocolate...love yourself more than chocolate!!! ^_^

I tried keeping some in the fridge overnight to see if they increased in weight, but by the morning they had completely disappeared, so I guess they most decrease in weight!

Chocolates can be fattening. I would say, dont cut them out all together, just eat them in moderation. You dont have to starve yourself or deprive yourself of your favorite foods, just dont overdo.
