Whats her level of allergy to it? Get her tested first to find out because normally kids grow immune to the food they are allergic to with minimal exposure to it - like giving it in small amounts. But if its fatal for her - you're not alone in this. Its just too bad because those two are good sources of protein for a child. Dont feel isolated. There are other parents with kids who are allergic to some type of food or another.

well my son is 6 and has a allegry, to soy milk and peanuts and usues a epi pen for when, he started school, it isnt that important if the child isnt in school yet, but when she get enrolled it a total diff issue u will have to talk to the cafateria, the teacher and the school nurse all it takes is one accident , i remember they gave my son a da.. peanut butter cookie when he was 4 ha i snapped the but now a few years later im soo much more confortable because accident happen, as long as that child has back up benadryl then she is ok look at it like that its ok to over react now but soon she will grow out of it i promise , dont let the allegy control u , control the allegry.

My nephew was also allergic to peanuts. It was pretty bad up until he was around 11. Then all of the sudden it went away. As people age their allergies may change. But, I would be careful what she eats. I work with children and one of them was allergic to peanut butter, we had a cook out and the Kid ate peanut butter cup cookies. He got sick but we just called mom and had her pick him up. Make sure your child knows what their eating and whats in it. We used to label things in our house so Zach would know what he could and couldn't eat. We would put stickers on the things he couldn't eat just to be on the safe side. It's normal to worry she is your baby. Just make her aware of what she is allergic to.
