Afterlife Communication - Connecting to the Other Side
One of the most important things that I have learned about afterlife communication is that you do not need a person like me to connect with your loved ones who have crossed over. They can show you signs everyday that they are around you. All you have to do is look for them. And if you talk to your loved ones in the afterlife they will hear you. Outside of the few incidents recorded in the Bible, there is no contact between the dead and the living. In 1 Sameul 28:7-19, King Saul sought a woman with a familiar spirit (a demon) to inquire of Samuel about what to do. When God intervenes to rebuke Saul, the witch actually manages to communicate with the Samuel and it shocks her (v. 12) indicating that it had not previously happen with her. She was a fake. In the Gospels there are a number of instances where demons possessed people (Matt. 8:16,28f.; 9:32-33; 12:24; 15:22; 17:18)
Some "ghost" sightings are real ... but they are demons that manifest themselves and are not deceased people. The truth is these "ghosts" are not the spirits of men and women, but rather fallen angels masquerading as our loved ones. Demons see everything that goes on and they mimic dead loved ones. Some people make themselves open to demons and are called mediums. There are some who do speak to demons and some are possessed by them. The Bible has a number of examples of that. Demons do have the ability to manifest themselves and manipulate the matter around them.
Many supposed ghost sightings are fakes...as many seen on TV where some guy claims to have contacted someone in his audience dead relative. It is a hoax and several have proven it to be that. It is a big money maker for some people...

In a true sense, NO!!! When you go to a medium (which is what many people do), you are not actually contacting the dead, but rather contacting evil spirits (demons). Doing such a thing is extremely dangerous! If you have any sense at all, STAY AWAY FROM SUCH THINGS! A lot of people think it's cool to watch T.V. shows and moves about witchcraft and satanism, but they don't realize what they're doing. They get involved in occultic practices, like the thing I mentioned, and open up a doorway to the Devil! This is no game, this stuff is REALl! Sure, you can go ahead and laugh me off, but don't say I didn't warn you! Just don't come crying to anyone on this forum, when all hell breaks loose in your life, and everything is falling apart.

I'm only gonna offer what I think.... Take it for what it's worth to you.
Energy and matter is never destroyed, only changed. So the essense of what we are is still around us, but on a different level from this life.
I believe our loved ones that have passed can see us and they can hear us. They are aware of what's going on with us and we can talk to them. I also believe that they send us messages.... Just not in ways we are necessarily aware of.
If you're wanting to hear from them more directly, you can try a medium, but don't just pick one out of the yellow pages. See if you can get referred to one by a friend or relative.

Spiritualists practice that, as far as I know pangel is the only one on Y!A. You should ask her about it.
Don't listen to anyone saying that you will be possesed, that is rediculous. The spiritualists I have met have all been the most happy, kind and empathetic people. I know two, pangel and one whom I personally met. These poeple who quote the bible are just repeating spoon-fed paranoia and have no idea what they are talking about.

Nope. Dead is dead and gone is gone. If a contact IS made of some kind, it's a demon disguising as a dead person.
