People are often asked to "Contract for Safety" when they are suicidal, and that can be verbally or in writing...but it doesn't mean anything legally.

There is no official contract, but you can make a legible one on the computer, as soon as its printed it becomes official, however, even if a patient does sign it and then commits suicide, he/she cant exactly pay a fine for it can they.

I believe some therapists have people sign agreements, such as: "I agree to call Dr. Smith if I have strong feelings of suicide or despair." Of course, you know, this isn't legally binding at all. It is just an agreement between the therapist and the patient.

not official but yes there is a contract.
It usually involves something along the lines of "if i feel suicidal i will.."
1. call ______
2. Write poetry about how I feel
3. call a suicide prevention hotline
4. take a walk with a friend

it is more about preventing them from acting rashly when they are feeling really emotional which is not a good state of mind to make decisions anyway

hope Ive helped

You can write, sign, and notarize any contract you want, but there's no binding legal agreement that will prevent a patient that wants to do so from trying to do so.

i dont think there is, because there is no for sure way that they can prevent the contract form being broken!
And once the contract IS broken, who takes responsibility then?

Perhaps there something that a patient can sign to state they they wont ATTEMPT to commit suicide!

Pets in many situations grieve themselves to dying whilst their human or companion animal dies. generally it extremely is an older puppy that has been linked to it extremely is human or playmate for some years. they only lose the prefer to stay. Whales beaching themselves is suicide. seems i've got heard of alternative marine mammals and primates committing suicide, too. i think it takes bigger intelligence, maximum animals are too dumb to be that unhappy!
