It is like the title of anything else. The standard used to be putting the title in quotes, and that probably still goes if it is handwritten. However, now that everyone has computers instead of typewriters, the standard is to italicize.

According to the Chicago Style Manuel, it should be italicize. I also know from much art history reading that it is customary to follow with the year (in parentheses).
