Be harder to do with a big bed but I know when we was kids and wouldn't get up my mom came in and flipped our mattress off with us on it. The cold water works but if he has quick reflexes make sure you stand back. The phone and a kid screaming is about the only things that get my husband awake so if he doesn't get up I call the house phone from the cell and let it ring the phone is across the room in our bedroom so he has to get up to answer it or just turn the kids loose on him they can manage pretty well.

Have a girlfriend call you (ring ring or beep beep whatever). Answer the cordless phone where your hubby is sleeping. Say into the phone "I can't talk now, I'm with my husband. He's sleeping but might hear us talking. Can I meet you later when he is gone?" If he does not wake up say "I can't wait for you to rip my blouse off and pull my panties down" I guarantee he will jump out of bed. LOL

This is quite an amusing question!. It's funny because I also find it very difficult to wake up in the morning and my
wife had a hard time waking me up. I actually found a solution. I discipline myself to wake up at first instant of alarm clock sound and that all it takes! Self discipline!

Try to wake him up at the first sound of the alarm using some drops of cold water. Don't give him any chance. But it's all a matter of discipline.

Have him set his own alarm clocks, across the room and loud, and always go for a walk or a jog before he gets up. That way.. he has to get up to get the alarms.
Also, if he is sleeping alot, more than ussual, he might want to check with a doctor.

my husband was in the military and said that they had a few guys that they would have to wake up using this method go and buy some marbles, put them in the freezer, then when he will not get up put them in bed with him. Every time he tries to move away from them they will roll with him.

Ice water in his face? A Victoria's Secret outfit? Armageddon? Getting fired should wake him up FAST. Its his problem; make him deal with it and pay for it. Trying to fix him will only set up a pattern where he is the child and you are the mama. And you're not.

Pour some really cold water on him.
Put on some really loud music.
Sit on him.
If you have a cat, thrown the cat on him. Same for a dog.

Oh no don't hurt him!! My husbands infinate wisdom says a ********, but of course he never lets me near it when he's sleeping.... Is he ticklish? I torment mine until he gets up... he gets annoyed and even mad... but... he finally gets up... I've perfected it to 10 minutes even... though he curses a lot for it... One minute flat for ice cubes on the feet or groin.
