Baby, I ask the same question. The thing is that they see the truth but because of their integrity they choose to remain paranoid!
Mohamed was born many years after the bible was made, who was he to contradict what has been done before. And these fool muslims are saying there are mistakes in it.
They say jesus was just a prophet, not God himself in form of humans, catholics are starting to follow this belief and thats why I would never recommend a catholic church to anyone.
They say arabic is the heavenly language and if one dont pray to God in arabics God wont answer the prayer. Shut their mouths. Arabic is a language like any other and the only reason different languages exist is because we all wanted to go against God( in the story of Babylon) in not spreading around the world and multiplying but in building the tower of Babylon which woud stretch to heaven so we can play there sometimes. so what makes Arabic the heavenly language?
Mohammed tried to die and rise again, but guess what? he died and stank and had his body eaten by maggots like any other human being.
Jesus died for us because of our sins, because he loved us. did Mohammed? dint think so, like he cared about any other human's life than his own.
Some muslims heal the sick and do wonderous things in the name of Jesus, why cant they believe he is the messiah?
God promised to come to earth to save us from our sinful lives, and for 400yrs, the peole have waited and hoped for his coming, and guess what? they expect his to come in his glory as if they deserved that. They cannot humble themselves enough to see how God GOD I mean God humbled himself, lessened himself to the image of a common human being like me, as if that wasnt enough to show us he loved us that much, he came to be a CARpEnTeR's child and not only that he made sure he was born in a STABLE. God himself humbled himself, why cant they humble themselves.
There are lots about this people that... well cant say it all. I know they are paranoid and what they believe is Mohammed's belief and view of God, not what God wants them to believe. And this gives God a heartache. Imagine God regretting he created we human beings! I feel regret for being a sinner and ashamed of what I am. All I can do is know that God came to earth in form of Human being and died for us. Christ died for us, he DIED for us and by the power of trinity, he rose again! Halleluya!

No.
Isaiah 7:14 (KJV) "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel."
Christians say this verse predicts the virgin birth of Jesus, who they maintain is the deity come down to earth to be with us. However, this citation has been poorly translated, taken out of context, and is not messianic in any event. (Note, by the way, how the book of Matthew in the Christian Bible *misquotes* this verse).
Poor Translation: The Hebrew word for virgin is "betula". The root of the word is so specific that the Hebrew scriptures mention it with reference to stained bedsheets. However, the word used in Is 7:14 is "alma" which most dictionaries translate as "young woman." The word "alma" is found only seven times in scripture. In some places, it could mean either "virgin" or "young woman" but two verses suggest that an "alma" need not be virginal (Proverbs 30:19 -- "the way of a man with an alma", which is usually sexual -- and Song of Songs 6:8 -- "queens, concubines, and almas", the first two clearly not virginal, which suggests the third also is not.) To think the prophet would have used "alma" rather than the unequivocal "betula" strains credulity.
Also, "will conceive" is unlikely. The Hebrew "hara" is most likely present tense and is better read "is pregnant."
Context: This verse concerns a specific political problem of that era, and has no messianic significance at all. Isaiah writes in a highly flowery style, which makes it difficult to follow his point. However, if you read verses 1-15 slowly and carefully, you will see that Isaiah is telling his king, Ahaz, not to worry about two neighbors, Rezin and Pekah, who threaten the kingdom, because these two "firebrands" will be vanquished. How long will that take? A few years -- i.e. in the amount of time it takes a young woman to bear a child, and raise him to know the difference between good and evil.
As for the name of the child, Emanuel, though Christians render it as "G-d with us," it should be rendered as "G-d IS with us," a statement to King Ahaz that he will defeat his two neighbors because he, Ahaz, has a divine ally. The name is a comment about G-d, not a description of the person so named.
What the text says is simple. To paraphrase -- look, the young woman is pregant and will give birth to a boy and she will call him "God is with us"; he will be eating butter and honey before he knows to choose good from ill. Before he knows how to choose good from ill the lands of those people you fear will be forsaken.
Parenthetically, Jesus was never called "Emanuel".

David,
You are a Christian. Stop this evil and deceptive form of missionizing. It degrades Christianity.

. It is, by definition, impossible for it to be "jewish" to believe in jesus. "Jewish" is, by defintion, what jews have historically and contemporarily believe. Since in neither scenario do we find "believing in jesus", then we must clearly realize that belief in jesus is not something "jewish". You can call it "biblical" (and still be wrong), but certainly not "jewish".
. On the side, the subject of Isaiah 53 is promised a "long life" and "seed" (i.e. physical children). Clearly this isn't about jesus.
. And Isaiah 7 is clearly not messianic if you read the whole chapter. and "alma" doesn't mean virgin either. You'd know that if you spoke hebrew (I guess it wasn't part of your "extensive jewish upbringing", huh?)
. On the side, Isaiah 9 can't be about jesus since, according to christianity, he's the "son" not the "father" (as the verse states). Nor did he have control of the government (to the contrary, the roman government killed him). And he certainly did not establish "endless peace".

oh, and lastly, I've decided that you truly epitomize everything I find intensely intellectually unsatisfying about christianity. (And you clearly do not understand hebrew.)

First in the Qur'an there is a clear verse which means that he was not killed nor put on the cross but they thought it happened.
Second:Prophet Muhamed when he got married with lady Aisha she wasn't 9 years old as Khaled Al Gendy one of the Azhar sheikhs proved that she was not at that age and she was a teenager not a child at the time of marriage.
Third:Are you talking to Muslims or Christians in your question?Muslims will never let Islam because of things like what you wrote.

QURANIC VERSION OF THE BIRTH OF CHRIST/ DEATH
BEHOLD! THE ANGELS SAID: OH MARY
GOD HATH CHOSEN THEE AND PURIFIED THEE
CHOSEN THEE, ABOVE THE WOMEN OF ALL NATIONS
HQ3:32
BEHOLD! THE ANGELS SAID OH MARY!
GOD GIVETH THEE GLAD TIDINDS OF A WORD FROM HIM
HIS NAME WILL ISA (JESUS) THE SON OF MARY
HELD IN HONOUR IN THIS WORLD AND THE HEREAFTER
AND (OF COMPANY OF) THOSE NEAREST TO GOD.
HQ 3:45
O PEOPLE OF THE BOOK! (Christians and Jews)
COMMIT NO EXCESSES IN YOUR RELIGION
NOR SAY OF GOD AUGHT BUT THE TRUTH
CHRIST JESUS THE SON OF MARY
WAS (NO MORE THAN) AN APOSTLE OF GOD
AND HIS WORD, WHICH HE BESTOWED ON MARY
AND A SPIRIT PROCEEDING FROM HIM
SO BELIEVE IN GOD AND HIS MESSENGERS.......HQ 4:171
SHE SAID: OMY LORD HOW SHALL I HAVE A SON WHEN NO MAN HATH TOUCHED ME? HQ 3:47
HE SAID: ( the angel in reply)
EVEN SO:ALLAH CREATH WHAT HE WILLETH:
WHEN HE DECREED A PLAN,
HE BUT SAITH TO IT "BE"
AND IT IS.......................................HQ 3:47
THE QURAN LAY BARE TRUE POSITION OF CHRIST:
1. That he was son of a woman, Mary and therefore a man
2. But an apostle, a man with a mission from God and therefore entitle to honour.
3. A word bestowed on Mary, for he was creath by God's word "BE" and he was(HQ 3:59)
4. A spirit proceeding from God, but not God:his life and mission were more limited than in the cases of some other apostles. the doctorines of trinity and equality with God and sonship are repudiated as blasphemies.
AND THEY SAID (IN BOAST)
" WE KILLED CHRIST JESUS THE SON OF MARY THE APOSTLE OF GOD"
BUT THEY KILLED HIM NOT, NOR CRUCIFIED HIM,
BUT IT WAS MADE TO APPEAR TO THEM SO,
AND THOSE WHO DIFFER THREIN ARE FULL OF DOUBTS
WITH NO (CERTAIN) KNOWLEDGE
BUT THEY FOLLOW CONJECTURE,
FOR OF SURETY THEY KILLED HIM NOT.........HQ 4:157
Could anyone have been more explicit, more emphatic, more dogmatic, more un-compromisin in rejecting the dogma of a faith than this? IMPOSSIBLE is the answer. The only One Who could would be the All-knowing, the onmiscient, the omnipotent Lord of the universe GOD ALMIGHTY Himself!
