Well, "liking" you rests on knowing you and then having some things in common and pleasant feelings about you. I don't know whether I would like you or not. Instead I do my best to "love" you with "Agape" love-- unconditional love not hinging on my feelings for you, the views you express, or the look of your avitar.
"The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9, NIV)
God wants everyone to come to repentance--even you. Let me apologize for those who claim to follow Jesus and yet treat you with disrespect or unkindness. Jesus wept over those who chose not to believe.
