I bought a Spinach and Cheese Mancotti frozen dinner but when I got home from the store I forgot to put it away and it was out on the table for 7 hours until I realized, and then I put it away. It is still okay to eat? I don't want to get food poisioning!

There is no way to be absolutely sure without testing. Its not worth it. Throw it away.

I am sorry but 7 hours is too long. Unless you have a cast iron stomach you will more than likely get food poisoning if you decide to eat this. You need to throw it away!

well seven hours is a long time. i doubt you would get food posioning but then again you don't know how long the store has kept it. probably throw it away and get another one. frozen dinners are nothing but a couple of bucks so it wouldn't hurt to be safe

it's fine, before everyone had microwaves people thawed out anything frozen that way, over a good few hours on the kitchen table and they didn't get food poisoning from that either. i still grew up that way actually, and i'm not that old. don't refreeze it, though, eat it rightaway.

You only get food poisoning from meaty stuff, It will still be fine, it was frozen in anyway.

if it was frozen when you bought it, it should be ok, because it took a few hours to thaw out. It should be fine.

because it was frozen when you brought it I would think it would still be ok to eat it because it would have had to defrost anyway either before of during cooking, and this meal sounds veggie so it should be alright to consume.

You can get a really nasty food poisoning from cheese, you would probably be ok, but I would not eat it.
