If this is a real question, seeking real answers, then I suggest you commit about 20 minutes to the following blog article. It explains quite a bit about why people are "easily offended" from a psychological standpoint, as well as discussing the psyche of the "Muslim street."
It basically boils down to insecurities. If you're confident in the Truth that your Faith possesses, you can shrug off unwarranted criticism, and accept true criticism to improve your foundations. However, if your Faith cannot stand up to questions, you become upset when others question, disparage, or insult it.
Fundamentalist Muslims are taught that you must never question the Prophet or The Korhan. Ever. And so they recoil from any suggestion that they do so.

Now that you mention it, the "islamic fundamentalist" (by that I mean the radical ones) mentality does have a lot of similarities to a 4 year old with a temper tantrum - personally, I would say more like a 2 year old - at least you can somewhat reason with a 4 year old! I am NOT lumping all muslims together - just the irrational ones!

Iran was coverted by sword,and the cancerous control under the flag of a religion, so scared it's populance, they don't dare speak against the hand that grasps their neck. Why aren't these leaders doing the suicide thing to demonsrtate their believe to the ignorant bunch? Because in their hearty they know it's only a power tool to hold what little glory they get out of being first in their bastardized so called holy order. They lash out at any criticism of truth as to what they really are as a cornered rat will do.

islams alone. they easily get hurt because they r being paranoid! which religion gets in wars all the time? Islams .Which religion kills people who r not of their religion because they arent of their religion? Islam! More to that they think its honoring God as if God doesnt detest people taking other's life! they cant creat an ant but they can destroy a fellow human being,one who they never know may become a great person in life one day!

i just wonder why many take offense when someone steps on their private lives and their love ones but don't take offense when God or something to do with God is mocked or otherwise. Isn't their a universal law to love God above all?

Liberals always riot and they aren't even religious. Plus they riot over bullshit just like the muslims. I suppose that is why liberals love muslims so much.

Yeah. If somebody called me violent, I wouldn't say "I take offense to that, I'll show you violent" and then riot and kill people. Makes no sense whatsoever. If you're going to do that crap, you might as well say "yeah, and what are you going to do about it biatch!"

Christians used to burn people who disagreed with them. Blasphemy was illegal in most parts of the US at one time.
