I mean, you're supposed to have blind faith, right? But are you just going to believe the first guy that comes along and says he's the son of God? No, you're going to need convincing. But in asking for proof, aren't you doing what the devil did when Jesus was wandering about the desert? What will it take to convince you?

As you can see from most of the answers you have received, people have pretty much already made their choice of whether or not they will believe. This is right in line with scripture, which says that the evidence is here for all to see and that they are "without excuse." (Romans 1:20, NIV)

In Luke 16:19-31, Jesus tells the parable of a man who ends up in hell and asks to be able to go back and warn his brothers so that they won't end up there too. In the parable Abraham replies, "They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them. . . If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead."

And Jesus did rise from the dead, and still many chose not to believe. It will be the same when He comes back. For the most part, those who have already decided not to believe will explain away His second coming. There will be some who will have their eyes opened and see the truth for the first time. I suspect, though, that they will be those who have never really seriously given consideration to the claims of Christ, rather than those who have already chosen not to believe.

Faith is NOT blind and the second coming of Jesus IS a fact, not something that runs on blind faith as you put it. Obviously you are not very well versed in the Bible or you wouldn't even be asking this question! When He does return, it will be too late for those who reject Him and don't believe who He is. It is told in the Bible that many will come in His name and deceive many, even the elect of God if that were possible. Apparently it isn't possible for the REAL people of God to be deceived because they know how it's going down. Do You?

the devil wasn't asking for proof. The devil was tempting Jesus, to see if he could get him to stumble and fall.
No, don't believe ANYONE that comes along and says he's the Christ. Jesus warned of this...." many will come in my name claiming to be the Christ.....don't believe it"
When the second coming happens, Jesus says it will be in the eastern sky, not some guy here on earth claiming to be Christ.
He says false Christs will come and decieve even the elect.
so, be aware!

All will know when Jesus returns. so Please donot believe if someone says He is hewre or over here for it will not be true. All will know when Christ has returned. The sad thing is if it takes util He reurns then most will be left behind to deal with the anti-christ and from all I understand that will not be nice. People will die in the name of Jesus for they chose too late. They will have to choose the mark of the beast or not depends on each person. God loves us all and would that none would be lost, HE also knows that is not how it wil happen. I pray that I am found worthy to enter the kingdom of heaven.

The second coming will happen. We will not have to ask if He is the son of God, we will know. The way he will come is accurately described in the New Testament. I would question no one who stated he was the Son of God, just ignore them because if he was walking on earth, and suddenly announced he was Jesus, I would't have to ask, I would know he was not Jesus.

You have answered your own question.

Any guy (or girl) that walks around in the desert for 30 days is automatically the Baby Jesus Mark 2 in my mind.

Nothing as the Bible is a collection of writings that is both some history and myth intermixed. In the end Jesus represents one of many sun gods (Sons of God -> the Sun of God earthcentrically speaking). There are many layers of meaning in various religious texts especially in the Bible. There are also many different translations. But what about what was before any collection of writings called Bible? What about before the written word or before civilized societies. There was primitive man and before primitive man as well. Dinasaurs existed before man and that is for sure.

I heart that isn't wavering; searching for something frivolously. I have faith and trust that God would not allow my mind to fall for a false god or Jesus. The Bible lets us know what we would see when Jesus comes. That's all I can depend on and God's guidance and strength.

Jesus is coming for those that are waiting for him, we will be the ones that see him. This is not for everyone, only those that seek him. It will happen so fast, you won't have time to think about it. so you better be ready! The dead in Christ will rise first, then us who are still alive but are in Christ will go next. In a flash, quicker than the blink of an eye we will be gone. Pitiful for those left behind, because there will be no more GOODNESS left here on earth, just think of the horrors that will go on here!! All that is good and holy will be gone, all that will be left are those that work inquity. Some will be good people, that don't harm any one,,, but if they have not been baptized for the remission of their sins they are lost. IT will be terrible for them, left behind with all the murders, rapest, drug addicts, theifs, childmolesters, horrible, terrible times on all those left behind, they will be screaming out to God to let them die but they can not, they will be crying out to Jesus to help them,, but it will be to late... he will have come and gone and taken those that believe in him, and that loved him on. Then comes the judgement, God the Father will take back over then and HE will punish those that did not believe in his only begotten son,,JESUS CHRIST. THEY WILL GO TO EVER LASTING TORMENT.. No getting out of it ,,it will be to late... SO all people reading this ,I beg of you be ready when he comes for his own, there is NO second chance as almost all churchs tell you there is,, IT is appointed once for man to die then comes the judgement, please be ready. Again not every one will see him, only his own!!!!He will not step down on this earth, so if any one tells you he will, well they are lieing to you, dont't fall for it it is a lie ... we will go UP to him, he is NOT coming down here to us!!!HE warns you about this in the bible if you will only pick it up and read it for your self, don't let some man, or woman preacher lie to you. read and study the word of GOD for your self, let GOD be true and every man(or) woman a lier.......iF you are of God you will hear these words if you are not of God you will not hear them.
