Probably because it's against the law in most places to hold public demonstrations of hate, and also likely because our societies as a whole are trying to evolve into more tolerant places to live. My personal take on hate demonstrations in most Muslim countries is that on the whole, they are corrupt failing states that need to divert the attention of their populations and give these people an outside forces to focus their frustration and hatred on. Think about it: what dictatorship hasn't used the outside aggressor card to justify it's own existence? I hope we never as societies stoop to the level of depravity displayed around the world in so called "holy" protests. It's too bad that people in these societies can't ask the same questions we do, maybe armed with this right combined with knowledge they would find less destructive answers to their unique problems.

There are vandalizations against mosques and temples, and even some churches get burned down because the patrons are black. Don't worry, we have our fair share of crap here.
