It will vary by jurisdiction, but some general ideas are

CR - criminal

CI - civil?

I = infraction

M = misdemeanor

T = traffic

They are abbreviations for the type of case:
DR: Domestic Relations
AD: Adoption
CM: Criminal Misdemeanor
SC: Small Claims
CT: Civil Tort
etc.
Different courts / states use different abbreviations

These are internal filing codes. So all courts have their own. Some designate the type of case; some designate a court division; some designate a particular judge.
