It's destroying our economy. deportation is what we need and we need the hr4437 to take affect soon..and we need a wall built not a fence..we need more citizens to take the illegal problem more serious..its a threat to our way of living..

When other immigrants came to this country they were in limited numbers,so they didn't have any one to show them the ropes so they had to learn English to survive, they was no other way to get by in this country you HAD to learn English. But now there are so many people here from Mexico both legal and illegal there is not that urgency to have to learn it.There are people that can help you and show you the ends and outs and they speak your language so why bother to learn. You can get a job an apartment etc and never have to speak English.Where is the incentive to learn English to the illegal immigrant ?
Yes I think they should have to. But our government has stifled that need. The early immigrants were compelled to learn it to make it here in America .But now ,if the government enables them,by printing every thing in Spanish, what can you do about it. Its wrong and it should have never been allowed to happened but it has.
Its too late now unless the illegal ever wants to be legal, but in his/her mind, why bother...
I live in Arizona on the front line of the illegal invasion. We are enacting laws that should have been made years ago .And enforcing the excising ones.
I strongly feel that the illegal actions the criminal act of people crossing our borders with out proper documentation should not be rewarded with amnesty.
I know there has got to be a way to deport these people back to their native country. The first steps have began to materialize in the plan for a border fence.it will not stop any one determined to enter illegally but it will become a symbol of resistance to the American people.
I know that if our active military were placed on the borders that the invasion would come to a
screeching halt, that is my solution and deportation
of any and all illegals found in the US.

I think everyone knows, and would agree, that the United States welcomes anyone of any nationality (Except Maybe Muslims right now). The problem we have is that it must be done legally due to our political and social structure. They must enter our system of Government, not sit around and soak up all the Freebies. The true problem is not with the people coming over here for a better life, I can't blame there and would probably do the same thing. The problem really lies with the businesses in America hiring them and paying them. Those are the ones the government should target, not the man with 10 kids who came from Mexico. I really think our immigration problem is with Mexico. That country is a mess. Who would want to live there? It's filthy. And it's the product of their very poor government system.

I like Mexican people and welcome them....LEGALLY...not through a hole in the fence!

personally.... I do think there is a big problem with illegals. Anyone who says otherwise lives north where people dont mind the illegals from that border coming in. I live in south Texas where the marquees for our public schools are now ONLY IN SPANISH because the illegal situation is so bad. So now we expect our residents to learn spanish because they wont learn english. This is a major problem. I really encourage anyone who wants a better life to come to America.... but dont start your new life breaking the law. If you will break that law... what other laws will you break. Learn the lanquage......learn our background. Do it legally. I am sorry but it really upsets me that I am paying for Pablo to have social security when he never paid a dime into it.... but it wont be around when I am old enough to use it. Or that I pay taxes to educate children of people who should not be here... when our education system is drained enough as it is.

where do they get off thinking and complaining last year when katrina hit and they were upset they were being issued deportation hearing dates when they showed up to get us to help rebuild their lives in a country that they are not legal in anyway. We could not even afford to help the people that are here legally... as evidenced by my recent drive through Gulfport ,Missisippi which looks like Rita hit them only a month ago rather than a year ago.

I do understand we are all sons and daughters of immigrants..... but my grandparents came over legally..... and so should everyone else. We accept immigrants with open arms... but they should go through due process first.

Build a Wall
Deport when found
Fine and Jail employers of the illegal alien invaders
Call, write, or e-mail your reps demand enforcement of the USA's immigration Laws and enact tougher laws with the Wall
Get the employers and the illegal alien invaders will have to go back to where they came from

ALL Illegal Aliens should be deported NOW!

The immigration laws that are currently on the books are good enough, they just need to be enforced...starting with the sanctuary cities that harbor illegal aliens.

To all you IDIOTS out there (you devan) who keep forgetting the word ILLEGAL, try using it in front of the word immigrant.
NO ONE is saying we need to do anything about the LEGAL immigrants, just the ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.
DO YOU GET IT NOW??????
We are a Country of LAWS. Lets enforce the laws on the books, the 1986 immigration act would be a nice start.

well first of all, learn how to spell it. they need to round up all these criminals. newborns to ninety years old, take them back across the border.secure the border, and see that all these freeloading bums, stay where, they belong. and make everyone of their asses, pay back every dime of welfare they have gotten. if it takes them the rest of their useless lives.

We are all sons and daughters of immigrants.

People seem to think immigrants are some sort of vermin--they're human beings, for chrissakes!
