Well, I certainly would not judge the other child based simply on where he goes to school. I would be happy that the person my child decided to spend time with did not judge her in the same manner.
And why do some of the questions say "get homeschooled" vs. going to school? I don't understand that terminology. Both are forms of education. We don't go around saying "if your child gets public schooled" Sounds weird, doesn't it.

I don't see the problem. If you are protecting your child by home schooling them, then you missed the point of home school. Let your child "learn" more by allowing them to experience life, even if that life is with someone who attends school. During your home school time, talk about the "adventure" with the schooled friend. Use it to find out what your child did and learned. Don't just let them go and ignore them. Good Luck.

What do you do?? About what? I am failing to understand the problem. Were you thinking your child would never meet any other children who aren't home schoooled? Get real.

i would say just let them go out if the person going to the school is ok with not seeing her/him and if they truly like each other i would just let them go .I have experience in this because i went out with a home schooled guy.

Most people go to traditional school. Therefore he will interact with lots of people from traditional school. Get used to it.
