He hasn't fought in about a year, since his Pride loss in 08/2005 to Hidehiko Yoshida. He was supposed to fight this past July, but the other guy backed out and the fight was re-scheduled for sometime this month in London.

He's still around and fighting in various small MMA shows. He is fighting Paul Buentello some time in October.

I just saw him at Pangea II in Hollywood, CA. He wasn't fighting, he was in the audience sitting next to Josh Barnett.

I think he realized that being fat and lucky were no longer good enough to be a professional fighter...this was realized shortly after getting his but kicked by a 20 year old vetor belfort.
