my father is suffering from the resp and lung disease brought on by the dust, fumes in the air. Where can we go to get him help? i

He is suffering from the black lung disease. He sees the doctor everyday is on 100% o2. I need to know where can he go to get help financing it? NY says they are taken care of these people but we have yet to see the help from that.

i cannot even Begin to imagine what your family have gone through i cant help you with your question but i just wanted you all to know that you are it our thoughts and we wish you all the luck and i hope that your brave father gets the medical help that he needs from a well wisher in London (UK)

If you live anywhere near NYC, you probably know that this is a HUGE issue right now. The NY Daily News did a series of articles on this.
I would say, contact your local government. Don't go too high up, a local town representative or someone like that. Right now is the best time because this is getting a lot of press, and there's nothing a politician would like more than to get his/her name and picture in the paper for helping someone like your dad, who helped us so much on 9/11.
I'm adding this to my answer: Here is a link to a Daily News story from 9/15/06 about how the Republicans in the Senate BLOCKED a $2 BILLION amendment to a port security bill that would pay for health care for 9/11 workers. This was sponsored by Hillary Clinton, which is probably why the SOBs blocked it.

We need to be pro-active and get help for these people who deserve it. Meanwhile, the 9/11 widows are millionaires and are suing for more.

or a least tell you where you need to go

call your local government , or try the mental health department they could advise you.

is the government paying for any of this? i think they should. i think you should sue them until they do. take him to the doctor.
