wood tick bit me on my leg like 3 months ago while I was in the woods and I have a sore where it bit me. I am also developing small lumps which are very itchy in other parts of the body. What disease could I be suffering from? Could it be related to the wood tick bite? Any treatment or drugs(over the counter)? Please help I am really worried

You should really go see a doctor and ask them. Ticks can spread a lot of diseases. They can also spread lime disease which can kill you if it is not taken care of. The doctor would know best on what it would have given you or if it borrowed under your skin instead of just biting you. Go get it checked out as soon as you can.

Ok, my daughter just got over Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. The symptoms for that normally show up a LOT sooner. I am not sure of the symptoms of Lymes disease. I STRONGLY advise you to go to the dr and tell them about the tick and have blood work done. Tick born illnesses can be very very serious and in severe cases fatal. There is nothing over the counter if it is a tick born illness. Unless it is just a simple skin irritation.... But only a dr can tell you that... Good luck and dont wait any longer.

the head of the tick could still be in your leg then. Get it out of there. You can get Lyme disease but that's not what you have. maybe poison oak or ivy
