You commit the fallacy of the "false either/or." These aren't the only two choices available to us. To say that there is no evidence for Biblical Christianity is simply to ignore reality. Be careful that you understand the difference between "evidence" and "proof." For example, it is impossible for us to "prove" scientifically, that Abraham Lincoln lived and was president. We can, however, offer quite a bit of "evidence" to that fact, enough evidence that most of us believe in what we have learned about Abraham Lincoln.
In the same way, we can never "prove" the existence of God or the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, but we can find a lot of "evidence" to both. There is, in fact, more documented evidence to the life of Jesus than many historical figures that we easily accept as having lived.
You are correct in one thing, however. It all comes down to a choice of what you are going to believe and which evidence you are going to be open to seeing and considering.
Based on evidence I see around me every day, I choose to believe that God created the world. How it appears to us when we break it down and study its parts has little bearing on whether or not God did it all in the first place.

You are trying to sort Christians into groups A.) ignorant and B.) had some education, aren't you? Of course, they might sort Republican - Democratic, also.

Ryan Guest -
That offer is bogus because it is not science (what else do you expect from a dishonest man).
You cannot prove that there is no God and no scientist ever claimed that ability.
You seem to be one of the reasons that America is the most scientifically ignorant country in the free world (and a good part of the undeveloped world as well).
You belong to the same group that believes the earth is flat.
However, I will give you a chance to prove me wrong (and I wont make you do any math (well you kind of will, but no numbers - because, as Galileo said, 'Mathematics is the language with which God wrote the universe' - so, if you don't know math - you don't know squat about the physical universe or biological world).
Nevertheless, here is an easy question (all you need is a brain) -
Not sweating the details, the general gravitational equation boils down to the product of the mass of 2 objects (m1 * m2) divided by the distance (r) between the 2 objects squared (r * r).
What does this tell you about lunar effects (ie, full moon) on human behavior?
***********************************
PS to all you other anti-science idiots -
No evolution means all medical science is false - therefore, if you go to a doctor you are a hypocrite. Because without evolution, EVERY life science is false.
Also, unless you at least made it though vector calculus - STFU about anything scientific because you can't know - because math IS the language of science.
Of course, since most of you failed to grasp even English, a second language is probably out of the question.

Why as a Christian must I choose. This may come as a shocker to most, but I'm a Christian and I believe in evolution. Clearly all living things evolve. You would have to be blind not to see that. Just because evolution is a valid theory though it doesn't mean there is no God.

I can't believe that in this day and age, there are so damn MANY people who know absolutely nothing about evolution in particular and science in general.
If they love 2,000 year old lore so much, why don't they get off their dam PC's and go live in a cave, herd some goats?
And by the way, words of comfort aren't necessarily religious in nature.

You present a false choice because there is no question. If the question is, "What would you want to hear at the death of a loved one?", then I answer A. "What would you like taught in science class?" I choose B.
So I choose both.

show me the evidence, there is none, in fact creationist Kent Hovind has widely publicized his "standing offer" to pay $250,000 for scientific evidence of evolution. Google it and find out for yourself.

It appears we have no choice. We are stuck with C. evolution without evidence but everyone thinks it's true anyway!
