Actually, you don't have to be enrolled to get a student loan. If you have a past due balance from a previous semester that you're looking to clear up, you can get a private loan from Think Financial. You'll need to show an invoice or bill from the school in order to get the loan, but you don't need to be currently enrolled.

You need to be accepted in the university and registered for classes. Check with the registration and loan dept at the school you are or will be attending. They will give you the correct information. Remember student loans are for students...once you are not attending school the $ come due. These are not free. Financial aid pays for your school as long as you attend, if you qualify. Again, talk with someone at your school.

no, as long as you're enrolled in a minimum of 0.5 time, you're no longer required to start paying your loans back. you in trouble-free terms initiate paying them back at 6 (or 9) months when you go away college (in spite of school) or graduate.
