on sat. I drank alot of alcohol I stopped at around 2AM sunday morning. I just had a drug test on monday at 1:30pm. Will the achohol show up and will hold that against me?

The only way it's going to show up is if they are looking for it. A general drug test is looking for pot, or other hard drugs. Also, if you are drunk at the time of the drug test it will show up.

You should be clear on the alcohol but if you have taken any drugs recently they will more than likely show up. I sell drug and alcohol tests for a living and they are very hard to beat.

NO, drug tests only test for specific substances in the body. Typically urine tests use a color strip that changes if a particular "illegal" substance is in the body. Unless you are a pilot or bus driver, I wouldn't worry about alcohol (and those tests will be the "random" type anyways). Companies don't usually test for it in a pre-drug screen.

They don't care if you got drunk. They only care if you were using the evil Mary Jane. It's pretty much the only thing that stays in your system for any length of time.
Alcohol is no less a drug than any other. It's only the US's irrational stand on drugs that classifies them differently.

firstly what sort of drug test? swab, urine. blood?
drug tests only test for drugs, and that is also dependant on if 2 or 5 or 6 panel testing? besides your alcohol levels should show normal by now?

No. Alcohol does not take too long to purge from the body. 36 hours is more than adequate time.

What you should have done is drink a ton of orange juice it will clear out you're system and you will pass the drugs test
