See a doctor ASAP. It's NOT Lyme disease (only female deer ticks carry that.) But there's a plethora of other diseases that are tick-borne. (Such as Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, among others.) Chances are, you won't die, but the sooner you see someone the more effective and less invasive the treatment will be. (In other words - you might have to take 21 days of oral antibiotics now, but if you wait you may have to do 6 weeks of IV antibiotics.)

ok, my daughter merely have been given over Rocky Mountain observed Fever. the indications for that in many cases take place lots faster. i'm undecided of the indications of Lymes sickness. I STRONGLY propose you to pass to the dr and inform them with regard to the tick and function blood artwork finished. Tick born ailments would be very very severe and in severe circumstances deadly. there is not something over-the-counter whether it fairly is a tick born ailment. until eventually it fairly is purely an ordinary dermis inflammation.... yet purely a dr can inform you that... good success and dont wait any further.

The clinical picture of the intial bite and spread to other areas is typical of lyme disease. Deer ticks are the main vector, but there may have been deer in the area.

The Symtoms you reported are the exact same as the "Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever" often given to humans by woodticks.
There would be no over the counter medications to help you.
Failure to get help from a doctor immediatly could result in severe sickness or death.
You need to go see your doctor NOW.

You have been infected with some insect borne diseases such as Lyme disease or Rocky mountain spotted fever. Differential diagnosis has to be made and treatment taken.
Please see the webpages for more details and images on Lyme disease and Rocky mountain spotted fever. Consult a Dermatologist.
