Well, polygamy referrs to the state of being married to more than one woman. So, no.

But I take it you mean are most men naturally not monogamous. I think this falls under the debate of nature versus nurture, meaning are men who are not monogamous that way because of biology and their genetics, or due to other influences. I believe it is mostly the latter; we live in a society that encourages extreme differences between the sexes, especially concerning relationships. Women are taught to be sentimental, loving and emotional and should uphold the ideal of monogamy. Men, on the other hand, are coached by society to believe that they should be philanderers and un-committal. Just look at any television show, movie, song, etc. Women are the ones pursuing relationships and men are the ones trying to date as many women as possible and not "settle down." I think that as long as our society promotes these images, more and more men will feel that they are expected to shy from monogamy, whether it is built into their genes or not.

That depends on who you ask. I think evolutionary imperatives urge males to be polygamous and monogamy is largely a matter of personal preference or cultural. Studies have shown that in nature, animals that were once thought to be monogamous are in fact not so-and the most philandering was done by the females!

i think yes. It's some urge within them.

No man isn't tempted. Some just have better self control

but inherently, all are designed to be polygamous...

1000000% YES!.
It is a primal evolutionary instinct to 'mate' with as many females as possible to ensure our offspring survive into future generations.
All other animal species do the same, and we are animals.

This pretence at monogamy goes against our natural instincts which is why it causes so many problems in relationships.
