Oh really! So you are insightful enough to "sense bitterness." Wow, are you working on a doctorate yet? You should be for your insight into the conflict between Americans, Legal Immigrants and the incursion into our country by Illegal Aliens. Boy, your momma didn't raise no dummy when she enrolled you in K - 12.
Your question is a set up but asking hat "mexican people are like in general" is fair. The answer is that "the people" in every nation are the same, same needs, desires and love for people. I worked with, known and have "Mexican" friends and there are no differences between people. There are cultural differences but each of our cultures have their good and bad segments.
As you know, it is the activists, the politicians and the greedy that exploit the "people" in this particular conflict. They are on both sides of the border and they are not nice people. They want to be your next body of legislatures and they want to pit Americans against Illegal Aliens so that their evil agendas move forward. Unfortunately for them, with someone like me on the matter, they don't stand a chance. Eliminate me and their chances get better.
But then, Christ was crucified so that the evildoers may advance their careers and their loot.
Greed and lust for power are the great sins of all time. Being sex obsessed and screwing every beautiful thing you can is not a sin. It's just stupid.

perhaps this may help in your opinion of some people .
The Mexican people that I know personally
as neighbors and friends ,from what I'm
told,don't typify real Mexicans.
Or so I'm told on here.My neighbors are
doctors and business owners,well educated
and not in any way poor. They are great people ,
good friends and an asset to our community.
As are our black and Asians friends and
neighbors.I don't judge a race or someones
nationality,I don't judge at all.But I do select
my friends and all of these people are
my friends.
I do not want a hoard of illegals over running
my neighborhood or my country.First of all
the operative word here is illegal.
The friends that I have that are of Mexican
heritage are,kind,helpful,honest,sincere,
ethical, and moral people.I cant say that
about all Mexicans because I don't know
them all.I can not generalize by making a
statement I cant back up with fact.

Mexican people are just like any other people. There is bitterness between some Americans and some Mexicans because the Americans are afraid the Mexicans will take our jobs away. The Mexicans will work for less money.

I work in a factory that is about 75% Mexican American.
Most of them are very religious, honest and family oriented.
They love food and love to share it.
They are very proud and normally soft spoken unless provoked.
As far as the immigration issue...most of them feel the illegals need to learn some amount of english, and a very least get a work visa.
For the most part they don't like illegals taking their jobs either.
I put a USA flag over the bulletin board in the department i work in.
I put it there just after 9/11...it is still there and has never been moved or a harsh word said about it.

I sense a problem with the way you worded the question. I really don't believe you can ask what any race of people are like even if it is in "general". It's like asking what men or women are like in "general". I would say in general all people are the same. After that you can break it down. Within any group of people there are short/tall, nice/mean, biased/unbiased, smart/not so smart/, generous/stingy,....I think you know what I mean.
As far as bitterness between any races I believe that too is much too general a question. I believe what you sense is misguided "bitterness" and I don't agree with it. In my experience with people I found that you have to take each person as they are and if you must judge, then judge on the individual not on any generalizations of a race, creed, or gender.

I'm Mexican-American, and I know most Mexicans in Mexico are nice, fun loving, and polite to Europeans who vacation there, because they respect their culture. (They love the British and French!) With Americans it's a bit different...There is no bitterness, Americans love to vacation in Mexico and they go to beautiful Cancun, Acapulco and Puerto Vallarta by the millions. They also go to Mexico get drunk, pee on the streets, get high in public, try to harrass women and do things over there that can't get away with here in America. White American girls pull their blouses up and dance drunk on the streets (i.e. Girls Gone Wild) They say that Mexicans do the same here, but honestly it's just a few bad apples, most just come here to work. Also American companies go to Mexico and exploit the worker there big time. For example Wal Mart (a huge department store in America), will pay a worker there 25 cents for a T-Shirt that they sell here for $20!!

Generally, they are fine people with proud traditions. However, the ones who come illegally are draining our schools for our own children and our health care and services we need for our own people. That is why we have limits on how many poor people can come, as does every other country. That causes bitterness towards illegals here, of whatever nationality. We feel taken advantage of, and the impacts, with their numbers, have grown to the point where it is our children's education and future at stake.
Most Mexicans are still in Mexico, note.

There is no bitterness. What you are seeing on here is the concern of all Americans in regards to the massive illegal immigration sifting across the borders. While many of these certainly not Mexican, the majority of them are. Its the illegals that have no respect for our laws that we have an issue with, certainly not the Mexican people.

MOST Mexican people who I know are great people to know.
As in any ethnic group there are losers you don't want to be around and great people you love to be around.
If you sense a bitterness, I think it's not between Mexicans and Americans, but between law abiding citizens and an invading mass of illegal aliens.
THERE IS A DIFFERENCE!

If you are from a blood pure family, and send away the members of that family when they fall from grace and do evil to a distant city. That city will consider the entire family as evil, and mistrust any future motive of your group. The drive by media is only interested in strife to sell it's wares as it frightens the good spirit out of the Americans, that we once had with our neighbors to the south--remember Gene Autry's Mexicali Rose?
