If you like him so much why don't you move nearer to him? Hear what your friends are saying but think for yourself.

Hmmm ...well 200 miles isn't really that far...far enough but not that far...if he IS making every effort to see you at least every other weekend (and you are doing the same for him). Now anyone (male or female) who is "freshly divorced" very often will UNCONSCIOUSLY use the next person as a fling to purge their own feelings before moving on - but ...not all the time...so much depends..and this doesn't seem cut or dried to ME. You don't mention HOW long you've both been seeing each other...if it's only a matter of months...really nothing much at stake yet anyway - if it's a year or more and things haven't moved past where you're presently at..then yes...time for one or the other of you to move closer...or just both move on. What you have now is not anything at all in the long run..if you can't be together eventually - then what is the purpose? Any LDR is hard, but ultimately if one of the two isn't willing to drop their present life and up-root and move for the other one - then there is no use continuing it is there? Big sacrifices come into play with LDRs...maybe your friends don't want to see you have to do that - or they don't want to see you get hurt because they feel he will never do so for you.
Good luck to you

the main serious component of compatibility, is the proclivity to stay interior a similar place. Tevya reported that a Fish could desire to love a chicken, and the chicken could desire to love the fish; yet the place could they stay? the difficulty with long distance relationships, is that once you eventually come at the same time, with superb intentions, you nevertheless will have not any theory what one yet another is like for the time of the extra stressful moments of existence. Why no longer provide him a constrained volume of time to have you ever and him pass ot a similar community; and observe that if it would not happen interior some months, then it is going to in all probability in no way happen. That and 25 cents nevertheless won't purchase a cup of espresso in this city.....

if u ar beginning to believe what ur friends say then maybe u already know the answer. long dkistance relationshios work only when u've been together for a considerable period of time (1-2 yrs). but if it's begun as a long term relationship then it's no point wasting ur time. move on and have something real

Why do you want to be in a long distance relationship? Complete waste of time. The whole point of being in a relationship is to BE with someone.

Hard to tell because I have no idea how your relationship is. All I can say is that the decision is totally up to you. Do what's best for you. Don't do it because your friends say so.

look trust is a great virtue, but if you really have doubts and you want to know just pay him a surprise visit when he least expect it .

Well first of all, your friends don't know him, so they can't judge him, its all up to you, if you want to continue this, do you really know this person? would you trust them with your life?
To really know someone, leave with them for a month.
then you will find out their trueself.
Goodluck!
