Im applying for Amex blue for students and they ask for household income, do i write only what I make, or do i put down what me, my parents, and brother make? If me by myself it would be 2,000 but with everyone it would be arounf 35-40,000

I believe it would be everyones income unless you are considered independent. Which at 2000 per year you could not be considered independent.

Banks do not care about your parents income unless they deposit it into your checking account to pay bills, and in that case it would only be relevant if you were applying for a mortgage.

That question was not intended for people living at home. It is intended for someone with multiple jobs or a spousal income.

It depends on whether or not they also ask what you're individual income is. Normally they look at what you make so that they can set your limit. If they do not ask what your individual income is, then household income would be yours and your spouses.

household means that everyone who lives in house. excluding your brother, he wouldnt be responsible for your debt, if you dont pay.

put in what your parents make, if you just put what you make you probably won't get approved
