I have a couple of friends who aren't seeming to find companion, and I think its because they expect someone perfect, and most people aren't perfect. I wonder if other people see this happening with friends/family?

I think you are absolutely right. It is not neccessary to be very clever to notice that media makes lots of harm to people. They show painted faces, where all the defects are hidden under make-up, most of the time they show people who have nothing to do, just to be fit to be shown. I remember me watching at movie stars before and after make-up... you won't believe... as if I was looking at different persons. So, looking for perfection is not wise, you may need several lives (one won't be enough) to find it.

Let me first tell you that we are all beautiful. Then i will tell you that none of us are perfect.
Yes the media has messed us up. Don't blame them fully though. It all started with the fairy tales that they use to read to us when we were younger. Anyway, i digress.
We need to face reality and see that the media wil do anything to have us believe in this foolish mr perfect and misses perfect which i think reside on the planet cacasplash. Besides, who wants to live with the perfect man or woman anyway. Wouldn't that be boring?
