if you feel from him several times that he is flirting and hinting for something more than pure friendship, but you don't pay attention and don't even make a sign that you noticed it... then after several days he says that he is not attracted and he doesn't feel anything sexual towards you (note that you have not asked anything and you were talking about his travel plans before he told you he was not attracted), what does it mean?

Maybe your standoffishness (is that a word??) embarrassed him cause he knows you knew what he was getting at and now he is using harsh remarks to try to make you feel stupid?? that is my first guess?!?!
Or he's afraid you are going to tell someone of his remarks and he wants to make the first "move" towards the otehr direction so he can use that against you..... if you tell someone else.. by saying" well i told her i waan't attracted to her... etc..." and they will believe him over you.
It is probably just to cover his A**

He might just enjoy the thrill of risky flirting. No consequences, but a little rush of illicit activity.

That he's lying! lol ;) It's on his mind and I guess he knows he's been obvious about it, so he does the worst thing he can do and brings it up first so it seems like he's diffusing the situation in case the thought had occured to you.

They're so cute when they're thinking, aren't they??? lol
