When we look at a government and a government's action we know there is a people behind it. When one nation sends an army to invade another nation, we don't say "look at the acts of a few crazed people from that nation". We know that there's a nation behind them that support and feed this invasion.
Why are we so afraid to admitt that this might be true with Islamic fudementalism? Sure there are a few crazed terrorist... but doesn't that mean theres a whole community to support them? There are far too many Islamic terrorist organizations for that not to be the case.

The average Muslim knows that if he/she/it/whatever admits openly to supporting the ideals of their terrorist religion, they will be condemned by the much more powerful west. They are simply cowards- too scared to be honest out in the open.
Not to be accused of offering criticism without productive solutions, let me offer this:
We should take away all of the civilized western ammenities we have allowed them to have through our creativity and invention and leave them in the sandy desert where they belong with their camels. They do not deserve to be a part of the civilized world, since all they can do is terrorize it. Think about it. Are they using inventions of their own to terrorize us? NO!!! They are using things we have created. So we should take all such things away from them and make them behave like the bad little monkeys they are.

Actually, it has to be said that when one nation sends an army to invade another nation, especially in the case of the invasion of Iraq, we pretty much DO say "Look at the actions of a few crazed people", yes. But that's just an aside.
To say Islam is "supporting terrorism" is equivalent to saying Christianity is "supporting the murder of abortion doctors", simply because some people on the extreme end of the faith believe this is a good way to get their point across. "There are far too many pro-lifers for that not to be the case..."
It's not surprising, and I'm not actually criticising you for your views - it's generally symptomatic of the modern mind to think in labels, straight lines and stereotypes. We've gotten lazy at looking at things as they actually are, because it's easier to follow the lines we're presented. But that doesn't make it accurate or right.

Why don't you lear a little about the world before believing everything you read. How can anyone pass judgements when they only have access to one side of the argument. I am against radicals of any nature, but radicals are born out of desperation. We eliminate radical tendencies by allowing people the dignity of decent life. The superpowers of this world exploit the countries of the third world. It isn't a coincidence that Islam's roots are in these same places. If US suddenly became a place of massive poverty, radical religious ideas that promise eternal happiness would spring up. Look at all of the new age religions in the US (Scientology, Eckankar etc). With the exception of a few Hollywood loonies, the followers of these "religions" are not people who are well off.

Look, if a couple of wacked-out fundamentalist Christians flew over to Iraq and bombed some buildings, would it then be fair for the Iraqi's to say that "terror" is sponsored by ALL CHRISTIANITY? NO. IT WOULDN'T, WOULD IT?

people need to be more educated in world history
and i know you won't like this answer but just hear me out.
i am a christian and american but calling them terrorists isn't exactly fair when you look back in history at what the crusades were responsible for. that is exactly what pisses them off today is our belief that everyone should live like we do and worship the way we do. this is going to be the downfall of the US

There are 1.3 BILLION Muslims in the world. Even if there was 1,300,000 Muslim terrorists - a ridiculous number - that would only constitute 0.1% of all Muslims.
