They are still out there. I suspect that you are not looking in the right places...
Try looking at the sporting goods stores. i have seen various sizes offered as mitten hand warmers, boot warmers, back warmers, and so forth.

I don't know. But there are many new products out there now like the Hot/Cold patches and the Therma Care wraps. These you can actually wear for up to 8 hours and they fit nicely under your clothing.

Must not be such a great market for them anymore so producing them and back stock must not be needed....no sales=extinction of the good...just like the dinosaurs.

i bet you can get something like it at Target. They may not be as good, but it is something.
