The Muslim Paradise is decidedly a man's heaven, despite the fact that Sura 9:72 promises to both believing men and women "gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein, and beautiful mansions, in gardens of everlasting bliss." Sura 44:51-54 promises believers they will be rewarded in Paradise with houris (Arabic hur) "with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes." Such damsels are clearly the reward for Jihad-fighting men. That they could also be rewards for burqa‘-wearing women is unthinkable. Occasional proof-texts to the contrary notwithstanding, Mohammed's heaven is a penile paradise. (It is a pity no reliable translation of the Qur’an exists in English; all available English versions have been cleaned up and civilized by apologetic translators.)

This is true that Holy Quran is difficult to translate as Arabic is such a difficult language. Same word would have different meaning when pronounced differently. Same word used in different places in same sentence change the meanings absolutely. Therefore, for scholarly pupose, Holy Quran should be read in Arabic.
When you quote a book, every sentence makes sense when seen with full context and historical background. Picking up few sentences here and there serve no purpose except to spread personal bias or misunderstanding.
Being said that no other book but the Holy Quran, I know has provided the fact that Heaven is not based on world rules!!! We know, in world nothing is stable, and nothing is perfect. Its an evolving and disintergrating place. Judiasm, Christanity, Islam agree on the fact that world will disintegrate on Judgement day. This proves the belief that world is not a perfect palce. On the other hand, Heaven is a place of perfection. Rules change their. So People who go to heaven ( Not just Jihadi) but those believers who did good deeds and had faith in Allah!!
Heaven is a place for ever. Every one will be changed to a beautiful person like Hazrat Yousuf ( Joseph PBUH). Our instincts and senses will acheieve the zenieth of their evolution. eg. In world if you drink wine/ juicce, first sip would taste better then next and so on until you lose desire to drink futher for time being. In Heaven rule is reversed. Every next sip will taste better and one can drink or eat as much as they want. Thats the reason every thing will be in abundance. Milk, wine, Juices in form of rivers not in containers like here. People will live for ever. They will remain young for ever!! Same rule applies for sex senses. They will be Heightend. That brings the description of Hures which are by the way not human. Believing man and woman of heaven will marry again in Heaven but their won't be a divorce. Their won't be any jealousy, lie, revenge left in human nature. And so on. Implementing the rules of heaven on earth is pure ignorance as its a different place.
The reason people of other faith find it difficult to understand these concepts because their books do not mention those. There is a lot more beside just this about life on earth and life on heaven. Prophets were given few attributes of heaven while on earth, just a glimpse. Like Moses ( Hazarat Mosa PBUH) could talk to Allah and was shown a glimpse. Believers in Heaven could do that too!. Jesus ( Hazart Issa PBUH) could walk on water, believers in heaven can do that too. ( I am not mentioning his ablity to heal as in Heaven there won't be any sickness. Hazart Muhammed ( SAW) had his attributes ( several) . Bottom line is there is a different and more detailed description of Life and death in the Holy Quran. These details were left for the last book, last Prophet and FINAL religion!! Picking up some sentences here and there won't help you or anyone. Read it yourself without Bias, you will be able to decide yourself instead of letting a priest tell you unfounded info whose lifelihood depends on you to come to his Church and pay him annual dues!!

you got the wrong notion of islamic paradise.this paradise is maximum happy place.and what will be more happy place for a woman that she got her virginity after evrt act of love.this reward of her act of chasty and fear of allah to not involve in worldy love with forbidden way. if you see then y will find in all the activites of world there are some motive.some time people act for wealth,some time for woman,some time for honour and some time for property and here allah sight on point of rewrd for those who love beautifull woman and man.
for better english translation work you read quran of maulana abul aala maudoodi trnaslation of quran which translated into english.but in my opinion that if you read quran after learning arabic u will become a muslim before finishing quran.have a bet and read.
