I'll be buying a weight lifting machine soon to increase my muscles capacity and I just a query in relation to the exercise itself. I know that when you one of the machines it develops muscles but, can you actually lose weight using just the weight lifting machine? Is the fat on the body lost or is it just converted into muscle? I apreciate the helps.

Thanks very much :-)

Strictly speaking, fat isn't "converted" into muscle. It is converted into energy when you work out to build muscle. (It is also converted into energy when you run on the treadmill.) Building muscle will help you burn fat as it is more metabolically active, but as it is more dense than fat, your weight may actually go up. A better measure is how you look or how your clothes fit than how much "the needle on the scale spins around".

Another point
It is an unfortunate fact of biology that your body will more readily store carbs as fat and more readily burn muscle for energy (than the other way around). So in addition to your work-out routine, you might want to look at your diet with an eye to reducing your carb intake and increasing your protein intake. This will force your metabolism to work "backwards" - less carbs in means less to store so as your current fat is burnt it won't be replaced and more protein in will help build muscle and compensate for the muscle that will get burnt, at least in the initial phases.

Machine vs. Free Weights
The upside of machines is also their downside. They "lock out" all the body parts except the one you're working so there's no wasted movement and every rep is performed exactly correctly. However, because every rep is exactly the same, the same part of the muscle gets worked out the same way. Free weight advantages/disadvantages are this same argument only the other way around. The long and short of this is that you might want to consider joining a gym or getting some free weights so you can mix and match your machine and free weight work-outs.

Hope I didn't inundate you with too much info. Best of luck with your work-outs.

loose weights, truthfully. making use of loose weights you need to use lots of extra muscular tissues to stablise the stream which help preclude injury besides as something. I additionally use machines yet purely incredibly lat pulldown, smith - i detect machines are too remoted. As a chuffed medium, cables are superb by way of fact the provide you incredibly sturdy unfavorable rigidity and nonetheless work together all stablising muscular tissues. so as to sense as in the journey that your making use of your muscular tissues doing loose weights you're able to truly hone in on your form and maximum critically you're able to 'sense' the muscle team your making use of ie in the journey that your doing dumbell benchpress you want to mentally sense your chest pushing the burden up somewhat than tensing your shoulders and traps - you would be suprized what distinction this makes!
