Well, I just learned something new about the wonderful and lowly Banana, a herb. Thanks for sharing, and by the way Banana are very good for you as well as I try and eat my share of them, as they are not over priced as some others things are in the fruit section of the store.

I thought a banana was a fruit but now I have learnt something new....I still would not put a tomato in a fruit salad

if a tomato is a fruit because it has seeds, doesnt that make bell peppers or mangos as i call them a fruit too? and even the hot chili peppers cuz they have seeds right? i think a banana is just good though

Hey i think Banana is a fruit too. If you look carefully, it has seeds inside. However, the seeds are not the main form of reproduction. Argh
