I've been having some pretty weird dreams. In one of them, I was gonna die the very next day and go up to heaven and see God, but I was afraid to give up my life here. I could see my embalmed body and everything...twas weird. Give me some soothing scriptures from the Bible please.♥

dont be afraid of life that can be taken away, but be afraid of God who gives everlasting life. Dieing is kinda scary because we are taught that we have so much to look forward too. Also we love our friends and family so much its hard to think what would happen if we were not here with them . But the Bible says that your life is nothing but a vapor.... Here today and Gone tomorrow. Just ask God to watch over you in your sleep. I used to have really bad demon dreams and I stood on it. I commanded that Satan got behind me and I havent had those dreams anymore. I am still working my faith to get out of fear... I know its hard but dont allow the devil to make you sad and scared. He is nobody.... and he can only do what we allow him to do.

I had a very vivid dream that I died. I what holding this girl who had fainted. Right before she fainted, she asked me who would take care of her and I promised I would, so I was trying to get her some medical help when a bunch of people came down a big set of stairs with guns blazing. They were headed for my mom, so I pushed my mom into this narrow dark hallway and I was going to follow here & I was thinking "do I go in first and use this girls body as a sheild?" But then I remembered that I'd promised to take care of her, so I pushed her in first and shelided her. I felt the bullets go in - several down my spine. I fell on top of the girl and wondered if the bullets had hit her as well. I felt the warm blood pooling undere me, and I though "Wow. It's all over. I meant to do so many things..."

When I woke up, I was kind of shaken, too, but I got comfort from knowing that even in the dream I had done the right things and was someone I could be proud of being.

Death and Resurrection:
The wages of sin is death. But God, who alone is immortal, will grant eternal life to His redeemed. Until that day death is an unconscious state for all people. When Christ, who is our life, appears, the resurrected righteous and the living righteous will be glorified and caught up to meet their Lord. The second resurrection, the resurrection of the unrighteous, will take place a thousand years later. (Rom. 6:23; 1 Tim. 6:15, 16; Eccl. 9:5, 6; Ps. 146:3, 4; John 11:11-14; Col. 3:4; 1 Cor. 15:51-54; 1 Thess. 4:13-17; John 5:28, 29; Rev. 20:1-10.)

Live right and follow and accept Jesus.

I have a similar complex. Drawing closer to God is weird for anyone because we are born evil and not good and we start to draw closer to Divine Love when we follow the commandments. If you follow the commandments for the Lord you are automatically for the Lord instead of against Him - for nobody can serve two masters.

Dying in your case may be being born again. Certainly death and burial represents being born into life according to the law of correspondences. The interpretation has been granted you by the Lord. Just keep on following the commandments. Apparently you are fine.

ECC 3:9 What does the worker gain from his toil? 10 I have seen the burden God has laid on men. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. 12 I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good WHILE THEY LIVE. 13 That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil--this is the gift of God.

ALSO try

ECC 3:18 I also thought, "As for men, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. 19 Man's fate is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath; man has no advantage over the animal. Everything is meaningless. 20 All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return. 21 Who knows if the spirit of man rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?"

Scriptures are nice to have and read in time of distress, but if you are a Child of God, there are some things you need to know for yourself, without someone always having to give you a word. If you read enough and spend time with the Lord, the word of God will be in your heart. You need to know that as a believer, there is victory even in your death (when the soul is absent from the body, it's in the presence of the Lord). You also need to know that God did not give us the spirit of fear, but of power and sound mind and lastly, you need to know that Christ took the sting of death! As true believers, we don't have to be afraid to die, for we know that if we suffer with Him, we will reign with Him! God Bless you!

St. John 3:16 -- God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Acts 16:31 - Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved,

for believers:
II Corinthians 5:8 - We are confident, [I say], and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

WOW baby girl! That's a tuff one. I usually tell people to read
the Psalms about King David, when he was down. But I
don't know if that will help.
Maybe you are a good peson, and God was just asking if you
wanted to come back Home. That what I always tell them people when they ask me why good people pass on so young.
It's because they are good.
But if you want to stick around a little longer, I'm sure it's COOL
with the BIG GUY.

Why are you scared to die if you say you are saved?
John 12:25- He that loveth his life shall lose it, and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
If you find being with God and Jesus in heaven hard then I think I would find out if I am even saved.

when your tasks, jobs, and learning experiences are completed then you will leave this plane of existence for another and not before. each of us have a purpose to perform in this lifetime on this plane and when we are done our physical body we use here will return to the earth from whence it came freeing the soul and spirit to continue the seeking of wisdom and knowledge on a different plane of existence. enjoy your time here but be not afraid as GOD is with you.
