Collect pine cones and smudge peanut butter all over it and then roll the pine cone in nuts and hang out of a window of porch where squirrels and other animals can feast on. Also you can decorate them to save and use for Christmas tree ornaments, you kid can personalize it with a little glue and glitter.

Also you can make a home made scare crow with old clothes and stuffing such as hay, beans, rice and a little creativity.

Paint pumpkins.
Put leaves under a piece of paper and rub crayon over the top to make pretty leaf pictures.

something i enjoy is talking pinecones
and putting peanut butter on them and then putting bird seed on them
birds love them and so do all the other little wild life

My daughter and I alwas take the different colored leaves and put them between wax paper and iron them to keep them from crumbling and then we paste them on colored paper, she loves it!
