no we don't, its elitism, no one can say that one person is closer to god that another, we don't need churches or priests to talk to god, god is there for anyone who wants him

The world never has needed a pope. Now that may stir things up a bit, but the role of a pope is not in the bible.

The Pope is appointed for life. Like Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei. When either of them die, a new leader will be appointed.

No, we don't.
In fact, we don't "need" a pope, church needs him, not us.
One thing is the religion (any religion) and another is church.
Religion don't need a man that represents it, church do need one.
I'm not against the pope, it's a nice guy, his activities, his lectures, etc. are good and positive for people of all beliefs.

No - he's title as a pope would be a LIFETIME. Replacing him would just be an insult to our religion.
However, I was deeply saddened that he apologized. He shouldn't have done so, he did nothing wrong.
