on the pope and are calling for an INTERNATIONAL DAY OF ANGER. I thought EVERY DAY was their international day of anger. I'm glad I don't go PSYCHO every freaking time someone says something I don't like. I'm glad I don't want to KILL everyone who doesn't believe what I believe. Who else wishes they would just SHUT THE HELL UP?
I know that ALL MUSLIMS are not like this, but a HELL OF A LOT OF THEM ARE, and like it or not, they represent ISLAM, and will continue to until the TRUE, PEACEFUL Muslims STEP UP and put a stop to the violence and HATRED.
Sorry, but my impression so far, is that most Muslims are COWARDS attacking innocent civilians, and hiding behind women and children...and the "peaceful" ones seem to be afraid to stand up to their violent "brothers" so we (USA) have to fight for them. Then, they ALL complain about racial profiling, "offensive" CARTOONS, and anything else that gives them an excuse for their hatred. Personally, I'm sick of my American brothers dying for them.

Agreed. I really don't have anything at all against Muslims, but the constant lunacy that's perpetrated by some of the members of their religion is really helping me to develop a prejudice.
The Muslims who don't behave like the ones on TV need to be doing some good somewhere in the world, and get themselves noticed for it.
Right now, all we are hearing is the bad, and it is far outweighing the good.
This is how people become biased towards religions, etnicity, social status, homosexuals, etc. If the Muslims want us to see them in a different light, then they need to take the first step and give us something positive to focus on.

Where were their Jihads and their International Day of Anger when terrorist attacked the World Trade Center? If they cannot control their own, perhaps they deserve to be censured by the Pope. I'm surprised the old guy has any balls, since he's a priest, but I agree with him. How can they claim to be pacifists when they are attacking and burning churches? They are as much hypocrites as their prophet and their nonsensical "holy" book.
I'm going to buy a few copies of that book from the used bookstore so I can use them as kindling for my fireplace.

Absolutely, And the supposed non radicals are more than willing to sit back, like everybody else, and let America worry about it.They think Mr. Bush is bad, I would have turned the Muslim world into a smoldering hole in the ground years ago because that's the only way to deal with fanatics, especially religious fanatics. So everybody can gasp now at what I just said.

I understand how you feel. Our media does show the bad side of everything. However remember that we bombed Innocent civilians too, roust them out of their homes, destroy their economy, make them fearful to go to the grocery store and their children cannot go outside to play. There are two sides to this, both very sad. We are not stopping our government from doing these atrocities. We sit back and complain to ourselves. I too am tired of Americans dying for anothers cause. This is not in defense of the US it is in defense of the wrong actions of this administration. Do you want your son or daughter to die because your government can't say we were wrong and misleading? I don't. This country although founded partially on the premise of religious tolerance and freedom, no longer believes that. How sad.

I agree completely. I would add that this mostly appears to be coming from the Middle East muslims, so culture, and sometimes poverty, will be factors.
I can't watch the news anymore. I am becoming clinically depressed over it.
It will not end soon. They have been doing this for centuries and it is all they know. Prepare yourself.

I have an idea: how about the West stops attacking Muslims first? I think it would be effective. See, they only got angry over the Pope *because he started it* and provoked them with offensive and insulting quotes. They got angry over the cartoons because they were minding their own business when someone decided (for no real reason, like the Danish editor admitted) to provoke them as badly as possible. Ah those Muslims, they should just bend and take it up there. Otherwise, hoo hoo, they're "lunatics"!

Their reaction to tho Pope's restating a historical event has caused them to reinforce just to what was stated. Carrying their signs and suggesting be headings. To bad they are bar en of intelligence about anything except the Koran. I think they would do well to remember and old German saying. "If God would give us the gift to see us as others do". They might lay down their F*#king swords and try to do something constructive.
