Apple Pie should be eaten hot! Even if the apple pie has been left to go cold, it should be placed in the microwave until the filling can burn through your tongue like napalm.
Once it is at the right temperature you have to put double cream on it.
Proceed to eat!

There's no rule on eating apple pie. I prefer hot apple pie most of the time especially in cold weather. Sometimes I prefer it cold but I think the flavor comes through more when served hot.

dont eat it cold! Apple pie as always better at room temp or warm.
Try it with Vanilla Ice Cream too. The pie has to be hot to enjoy it this way though!

Hot. It's definitely designed to be eaten hot. Otherwise you wouldn't bother cooking it in the first place. Not that eating raw pastry dough is good for you, but, I mean, you'd have to cook it and then wait for it to go cold, which is just silly.
Also best with cream rather than custard.

cold with ice cream
hot with ice cream, but make sure you eat quickly.
hot with cream,
If you make your own apple pie, try sprinkling cinnamon on top, this is really nice.
At the end of the day though its up to you, so go and experiment.
