im new to osx, i installed osx tiger x86 earlyer and it failed to boot, displaying what seemed to be an error, so i figured id reinstall it, whats the harm, so i did, and the same error, i asked a couple people i know that use macs and they had no idea, anyone have any idea what it means.

Are you trying to install Mac OS X on a PC? That's what it looks like to me. I've heard you can do that, but you have to do some work-arounds before you install. If it's a genuine Mac, though, check your hardware. Boot using your install disk (C during start-up) and run a hardware test, Disk Repair, anything that you can do to help things. If everything else fails, take it back to Apple or a certified Apple place, and have them look at it.

It must be a hardware fault if you see the same thing after a clean install, try taking it back to apple for a look!
