For the same reason anyone worships any god. They think they will get something in return or are simply thankful. I don't think anyone worships Satan though, Satanists aren't devil worshippers.

Its just another dualistic religion that divides the world up into US OR THEM. Probably the other side of the same coin. What I mean is, How can there be a Good without an Evil? The same folks that brought us Rich and Poor, Master and Slave, Right and Wrong gave us God and Satan. That justified the history of ethnic cleansing and holy wars that have occurred throughout history. And do you want to know who "they" are? The ones who have profited off the suffering of others.

Satan is a CXhristian construct. Some people claim that Satan existed as a pagan god prior to Christianity & was linked with evil through the Christian PR blitz, so they aren't actually worshipping the Christian version of Satan but a pagan god by the same name.

I think the more important question to ask here is do they think that they are winning? The struggle between good and evil is always full of ppl on both sides. Perhaps they believe that the power on this side of eternity is controlled by Lucifer than by Christ. Perhaps they believe that they can have their cake now and eat it too by confessing at the last minute before death and be saved. That is what the Christians do so why shouldn't they play the other cards of the deck before the game ends?

Wicked lost dead baby spirits only dancing on the earth for a Short time.The truth is God is a jealous god ,in all honesty praises ,serve and worship the one true living God ,the God of Israel is that holy one What where they thinking of worship; Satan you cant live in a unclean world forever.By worshipping Satan they worship themselves and loving their lives onto death and beyond to meet UP with the second death.Where all falsehood ends ,for it is sin to love your love ,in doing so you lose your life.The wicked live in darkness and have lost their way some where along the way.The true and faithful,,the righteous live in the light and know the way ,its found only in one way,by living your life IN the word of God are you brought onto the kingdom of God that's within all you When you find the love of God inside you.Its funny to here all of this from ,whats my handily spelled backwards lol

satanism involves many avenues that Christanity does not. I think some people who lack certain things in life that 'normal' people dont, find that satanism is what they need to get by.

People worship Satan because they think it is cool to be different, rebellious, dark, mysterious, brooding, quirky, bad.
Gives them self-esteem, a sense of belonging to a special group.
