The Holy Spirit comes in you the day you get saved. Pentecostals will say you must be filled by speaking in tongues but thats not in the bible at all. If you read Acts 2 you will see that the Gaelieans spoke in tongues to the many nations that was there. Tongues was only a language. Tongues was used to witness to the lost. It isnt a heavenly language. Please study from acts 1 all the way into 1 Corinthians 13 I think is where it starts. Might be in chapters 11 through 14.

You ask if you MUST be filled with the Holy Spirit to go to Heaven. The answer is no. BUT........
Being Baptized in The Holy Spirit is not an option. In the NT Times there was no question: "Should I be Filled with The Holy Spirit?" it was understood.

It is a Gifting from God, an enabling for Service, and a blessing. We are to seek daily to walk in the Spirit.

You need the spirit for regeneration, but the spirit is not manifested in speaking in tongues. Infact it is given to those who obey Jesus.

Tit 3:5

Act 5:32

Please read John Ch.3 where Jesus tells Nicodemus about being born again. When you believed on the Lord Jesus Christ you were born again (spirit filled)
