The Banana Splits split up in 1975 after a row about royalties from the show. They ended up really hating each other and blaming each other for the slump in ratings and the sad demise of the show. None of the original cast can be found in London.

About £6 for ice cream sundaes but they're home made with cream and all sorts of flavours. Near Chalk Farm area. I've been there with a friend but not 100% sure they have banana split on the menu but it's the sort of place that would make one for you.

Definitely Harrods! I dragged my sister there for tea one afternoon because I had been told it was a lovely experience. She didn't want tea, but I insisted. As we were leaving the waitstaff was just presenting a banana split to the people at the next table.
I have NEVER seen anything quite like it before. For starters, it was HUGE and SO exotically put together! It was as tho it was assembled by a floral artist . We TRIED not to be overwhelmed at the sight, but must admit that our eyes popped and we exchanged glances of wonder!
It has been 10 years, and she never misses a chance to remind me about the Sundae that she didn't have,!

Top with fresh whipped cream
Dribble you favourite flavoured syrup
Sprinkle freshly grated chocolate on top
Add a few freshly grilled blanched almonds
Finish off with a maraschino cherry on the top.
