All he said was that religion shouldn't be spread by violence. I guess it stings when someone calls a spade a spade. When this guy got elected, I didn't like him. Now I like him a lot.

You go, Benedict.

No, it's not okay if Muslims arrest and put the pope in jail. Muslims don't believe in violence, it's the media and all the propoganda that have portrayed muslims in such a manner. People like the Al-Qaeda, have varnished Islam's image by placing those attacks. The pope should have been a little more diplomatic, and muslims should just smile and let it be, because although we have taken advantage of freedom of speech, we cannot use violence against it.

Believe it or not, although I'm Christian- Islam is known to be the religion of peace. They respect us Christians and Jews as the 'people of the book'. If only we all lived in harmony, and were not that greedy for oil, money and power- this world would have been a much peacer place.

What are you trying to prove babe?
Does it makes you happy ,satisfied or more intelligent?
Does it make you righteous if you wronged others?
Does it makes you to heaven if other think you're perfect?
Does it makes your religion more a peaceful, tolerant than others?
will your peaceful religion really takes you to blue heaven?

you're all like little children that loves to be cuddled, praised, admired, adored but not otherwise

you're all the same
selfish, arrogant and paranoic blind followers and believers that thinks all others will go to hell except you and your lot

following jesus don't make one a true christian
following mohamed don't make one a true muslim
being a christian or muslim does'nt guarantee one to heaven
if your true intention being religious is to be in heaven-forget it
you're far far away from home man

never the mind
Christian, muslims and jews will all go to heaven
while people like me will volunteer to be burnt in hell

so
STOP THE SAYING YOU SAYING ME
STOP THE FIGHTING already OK?
IT DOES'NT MAKE ANYTHING ANY BETTER
SO JUST GET ON WITH YOUR GOOD LIFE MAN

Although his comments were ignorant, misguided and uncalled for he hasn't committed a crime per se.I think that ANY religious leader defaming another religion is deplorable in itself.Especially coming from someone who's beliefs are centered around forgiveness.Even if he were arrested the Catholic Church is so disgustingly wealthy thet he'd surely make bail then skip.I'm sure there are plenty of bounty hunters that would take that contract

lol

Really why is this still going on? Ya, the pope in jail for reading someone's quote. Ya, the pope in jail even though he said he was sorry. Ya, ok...the pope in jail.

Wow, we really need to move on to the other problems in the world. This is kinda juvinille.

That will never happen of course. His career as a pope has been hugely damaged, though.

Maybe they should just whine and get it out of their system....
This is one time where I'd rather just hear them whine, since they can't deal with it internally like the rest of us do when we're insulted.
