Then why are Christians so dogmatic about protecting the chastity of its purpose?

It is a fabrication made up by the church, as is most of Christianity.

After 2 centuries of being brainwashed, they say it is so.

But, I really believe that down deep inside they think it is illogical, and they fight back so hard because they are trying to convince themselves. How hard it would be------pushing an idea you did not believe in.

Many Christians don't like the alternative to the Holy Trinity. How does it work if there are Three Separate Gods working as one "team of Gods"? It sounds almost pagan.
In my mind, the Bible makes it clear that this is the case. The Hebrew word Elohim even implies a plurality of Deity. The best Biblical support for the Trinity is where it talks about the three being one.

The word Trinity is not found in the Bible. That much is true. But the three-in-one mystery of God's nature is seen again and again. Like many cultures, Christianity has it's own jargon. The word Trinity is shorthand to call attention to the passages of the Bible describing God with multiple (three to be precise) hypostases, sometimes called Persons.

To see part of the mystery in very compact form, see Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel, Yahweh (the LORD) our Elohim (pl. Gods) God is one Yahweh (LORD)

More literally translated it says, Yahweh, our Gods, is one Yahweh.

This is just the tip of the mystery which continues throughout the Old and New Testaments. We accept it without fully understanding it because we see through a dark glass using the dim light of reason.

The Bible speaks of the Trinity many times starting with the creation. The Bible says, "Let US make man in OUR own image". Since I'm a stickler on what the original text says (the one written in the first place in the original language it was written in) I checked out to make sure it said that in Arabic. It does.

Because the trinity is part of the great apostasy that Paul said would come, prior to Jesus return.

According to several reference works, not only is the concept of the trinity not in the bible but it is contrary to the teachings of the bible. The New Encyclopædia Britannica, The New Encyclopædia Britannica, The Encyclopedia Americana to name a few.

Therefore those who quote John 1:1, John 10:30, etc do so out of context.

Why I can’t believe in the royal we, idea to Genesis 1:26 and 3:22,

If Jehovah talked with the royal we or us, etc, why did He only do it only 4-5 times.

Why didn’t He or doesn’t He continue to do to so through out the bible.

Why didn’t He use the royal we at Gen. 1:29, 30 only 3 verses later, or Gen. 2:18, Gen. 3:11, 15
and through out the rest of the bible? Why at Isa. 6:8, does Jehovah say “Whom shall I send”? and the context of the verse shows He is talking to the angels.

Job 38:4-7 shows that the angels were existing at the creation of man, so Jehovah wasn’t alone and had many spirit creatures to talk to.

Instead, which sounds more real and truthful, that Jehovah was talking to someone who is His Master Worker, His Firstborn Son, His Faithful Witness, who is His image, His exact representation, OR He was talking to Himself. (Prov. 8:30; Heb. 1:3; Col 1:15)

(We are lower than Jehovah and we are still in his image, the angels are more in Jehovah's image than we are)

Bible scholar Donald E. Gowan said “There is no support in the O[ld] T[estament] for most of the proposed explanations: the royal ‘we,’ the deliberative ‘we,’ the plural of fullness, or an indication of a plurality of persons in the Godhead.

Why does the word Elohim according to Strong’s Cyclopaedia, when it applies to Jehovah means Supreme God, not Gods? Even when this word is applied to Moses (Ex. 4:16 & 7:1) it doesn’t mean that there are 3 Moses, it doesn’t even mean there are 2 Moses.

(Side point when Jesus said if you see me you see the Father, it is because he is the image of God, the exact representation of his Father. When you see an image in a mirror you are seeing a representation, not the actual person. Col 1:15)

(Side point, According to my college dictionary, begotten means “to be born”, to be born means “brought into life or being” when was Jesus brought into life, when he came to life as a baby? No, as Jehovah’s Firstborn of creation Col. 1:15; Rev 3:14)

The term trinity is not explained nor is it in the bible. However Jesus is referred to as God, as indeed is the Holy Spirit. Jesus refers to the father as God and so there you have it.

The Bible supports it.
Church tradition supports it.
Many Christians will say there experience of God supports it.

Without it you have to decide who Jesus is/was. Who/what the Holy Spirit is? Some groups do this (JW's and unitarians as an eg).

I am not defending the doctrine nor disputing.

I hope you mean purity of purpose because only persons can be chaste.

Because all teaching is not contained in the written form- the Scripture but also orally preserved, holy Tradition, by the Church.

Matthew 14:11

Matthew 14:7
IF YE had known ME, YE should have known my Father also; and from henceforth Ye know him, and have SEEN HIM

lets look at what the Bible does say.....

In Genesis 1:26
And God said, Let US make man in OUR image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

did you notice the words "US" and "OUR"?
who is is talking to? the angels? it can't be that because the Bible says that we are not made in the image of angels, but are a little below the angels..
Psalm 8:5
"For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour"(meaning that they have power that we don't) and the bible also says that we will be able to sing a song that even the angels can't sing at the end.
then who is he talking to? who are the "US" and the "OUR"? it would make more sense to believe that he was talking to his son and the Holy spirit.
